DO I NEED TO TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELRY?
To maintain the longevity of your jewelry for as long as possible, you should clean your jewelry, preferably on a regular basis.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR STAINLESS STEEL JEWELRY?
The care of stainless steel jewelry is not as difficult and problematic as you might know it from gold or silver jewelry.
For shiny surfaces, we recommend a soft microfibre cloth (like the one we supply) or a normal cloth. Please make sure that the cloth is not too hard, otherwise scratches can occur on the polished stainless steel surface. You can also use a light soapy water solution, as unlike other jewelry, it will not tarnish.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR GOLD-PLATED STAINLESS STEEL JEWELRY?
For yellow gold or rose gold-plated jewelry, the cleaning should not be too aggressive, as the gold plating can peel off over time. Lukewarm water, a mild soap and a soft cloth are usually sufficient for care. Above all, make sure to dry your jewelry carefully and gently.
WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARE FOR SILVER JEWELRY?
First of all, let me reassure you that silver tarnishing is a positive sign of quality. Only genuine silver tarnishes as a result of a normal chemical reaction with oxygen.
Similar to stainless steel jewelry, silver jewelry can also be cleaned. The only difference is that you only have to leave your silver jewelry in the water bath for a few minutes. It is also advisable to clean the jewelry carefully with a toothbrush.
If you only want to clean your silver jewelry occasionally, we recommend using a silver polishing cloth. With a silver polishing cloth, you can give your silver jewelry a new shine by simply polishing it.
