It was very funny: I am a woman who ordered the necklace, but it has been a gift for my son (the name is that of his hip-hop label, which he runs). Therefore, the pink packaging was decidedly contrary to the purpose and for the recipient, so perhaps gender neutral would be more appropriate.
However, we laughed heartily and didn't mind, but then that was something worth mentioning from my perspective.
The necklace itself is very nice and looks good, so that was great.
